Applicants: HTS HANS TORGERSEN & SONN AS (NO).

Inventors: Okke Van Mourik (NL), Joyce Smits (NL) and Erik Van Der Veer (NL).

According to the abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "The present invention relates to a child safety seat (1) for use in a vehicle, where the child safety seat is comprised of a base portion (2) and a child seat portion (3) having a back section (4) and a seat section (5) and a safety harness arrangement (8). The safety harness arrangement (8) comprises a pair of shoulder strap portions (9, 10) extending through respective apertures in the back section and a crotch member (12) arranged in a forward part of the seat section. Furthermore, the safety harness arrangement (8) comprises a pair of strap sleeves (19, 20), where the strap sleeves are provided with fastening means (21), the fastening means of the strap sleeves cooperating with corresponding fastening means (22) arranged in the side walls (13) of the back section."

The patent was filed on Sept. 8, 2010 under Application No. PCT/NO2010/000330.
