It's not too late to register for Induction Heating Technology & Applications, April 25-26, Houston, Texas. The two-day symposium is sponsored by the ASM Heat Treating Society (HTS).

Tech program: Topics to be covered on Wednesday, April 25, include: basics of induction heating, induction applications, specifying induction heat treatments, metallurgy of induction, quenching, equipment selection, and process control and monitoring.

Also featured on Wednesday are a networking reception and tabletop exhibits.

Topics on Thursday, April 26, include: computer simulation, coil design and construction, magnetic flux controllers, induction system matching and maintenance, induction heating for pipe applications, and quench and temper lines for tube and pipe production.
