NSW: Intellectually disabled woman assaulted at train station
NSW police have appealed for help in tracking down those responsible for a robbery
and assault on an intellectually disabled woman at a Sydney railway station.
Detective Senior Constable BRIAN LEE says the woman was assaulted on Thursday evening
when she took a train from Summer Hill to Villawood.
He says the 46-year-old woman was dragged from the train at Homebush.
She was taken to the eastern end of the station and assaulted before the man stole
money from the woman's handbag.
Anyone who witnessed the attack is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
