Jerkens due for Derby shot

You may or may not have heard of trainer H. Allen Jerkens. Notmany in the Midwest have, but he's a giant killer on the track. Inthe East he's known as the Wizard of Gotham.

Jerkens, who quietly celebrated his 63rd birthday Tuesday, isheard from mostly in the winner's circle. He's as good a trainer asthere is in the United States.
